Villa Milla is located in a village Zgaljici number 9, in the heart of the Croatian Island of Krk. It is in a very peaceful and green part of the island, close to many beaches, cycling and walking paths. The village itself has a status of a protected etno village with intact old stone architecture and meditarranean stone walls. You can visit many importnat historic sites such as Roman pallaces, Venetian castles, romanesque churches from the 10th centruty and many more.

You can reach your Villa Milla and Krk Island by air, by car, by train or by boat.

By Air

There are four airports on the Krk or close to Krk:

Rijeka Airport (RJK) is only a 20 min drive from Villa Milla. This airport is located on the Island of Krk itself and rental cars are available at the airport.  Trieste Airport in Italy is about 1.5 h drive from Villa Milla, Zagreb Airport is 2h drive from Krk on a wide comfortable motorway  and Ljubljana Airport is about 2.5 h drive.

By Car

Most travelling by car (from places north of Croatia) will need to first drive towards Rijeka.  From Rijeka there is a new motorway (2013) that takes you directly to the Island.  The house is then roughly 20 minutes from the bridge that joins Krk to the mainland.  Follow signs first to Otok Krk (the island of Krk) and once on the island, you need to follow signs to Otok Cres/Otok Rab until you see a sign for Glavotok, where you turn right. The next right turn puts you in the village and the house is more or less at the end of the village.  The house should be accessible by most Navigators.

By Boat

The house is 3km from the ferry terminal to Cres and Rab (other islands in the same chain).
